Deyrolle has to be one of the places in Paris that truly feeds me imagination. As an amateur taxidermist myself I am always drawn to such places not only for the artistry of it but also the little windows they open into the past. At this point I should probably point out that though I love taxidermy I also love animals and would never kill anything just to have it preserved. I support artist who only use animals who died of natural causes or road kill.
Looking though flicker I found that someone had scanned the article from world of interiors called The Last Taxidermist in Paris. I just want to say whoever you are, I could hug you!
